LEGASI OAKHEART is a boutique publishing house based in the town of Bangi, approximately 30 minutes’ drive from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Co-founded by a husband and wife duo, Hafiz Latiff and Sayidah Mu’izzah in 2012 – Legasi Oakheart specializes on literary works, particularly novels, short stories, essays and poetries concerning social criticism themes.

Within a span of just over 8 years, it has published more than 70 books and zines, which also includes works published under Kuras Buku, another publishing services consultation arm founded by the duo. The Legasi Oakheart prides itself as a publisher that is well known with beautiful and intricate artworks and design in its publications.

Collectively as a team, Legasi Oakheart has a wealth of involvement experience within the Malaysian book industry and fraternity, starting from the smaller individual projects to the bigger national level events including the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair and the Kuala Lumpur World Book Capital 2020.

Internationally, the team has participated in various book events including the Frankfurt Book Fair, London Book Fair, Indonesia International Book Fair, Istanbul Fellowship Program, Indonesia Partnership Program and Singapore Writers Festival.
